The prints are adaptations of illustrations from The Illustrated Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, the First edition which was translated by Edward Fitzgerald. Published in 1913.

The illustrator was Edmund J Sullivan.

The QXXXVI will be an AP out of 11, and QXIII and QXLVI will be matching numbers.

QXIII and QXLVI are Reduction cut, woodblock prints.
QXXVI is a multiple block print.

All are hand Carved, hand pressed.

Strathmore 400 series 2 ply smooth acid free paper.
Base layer of Spray Paint.
Gamblin oil based inks.
Paper size is 10" by 22".
